I love words.

Reading them, writing them, saying them, singing them.

(I also like doughnuts. See exhibit A)

I used to tap away on my mum’s old typewriter as a five-year-old (probably quite noisy but my parents never complained, bless them) but I didn’t ever think I was good enough to be a ‘writer’.

Instead, I studied music at university and tried to reinvent myself as a Jack Daniels-drinking, Malboro-smoking rock star. (See exhibit B)

Soon after graduating, I went into the world of hospitality. It didn’t end well (although granted, I did enjoy lots of free lattes and toffee apple muffins) and I had a mental breakdown which turned into my first book.

I rekindled my love for writing during my recovery and found that creative expression – telling stories – came naturally to me.

I became self-employed in 2018 and haven’t looked back since.

I wrote another book, this time a practical guide on freelancing, and now I divide my time between long-form content (fancy-schmancy word for books) and content writing for businesses who share my values.

My jam is working with inspiring women who want to make a difference in the world, women who are tuned into their emotional needs and have a clear purpose.

I’ll help you grow your business by doing the one thing that kickstarted mine – sharing your story.
