How to network with generalised anxiety disorder

I’m sorry, but networking sucks.

I’m not a natural schmoozer and I don’t think I ever will be. I don’t want to be. The idea of talking to complete strangers in order to somehow gain something from the situation is painful.

Working on my blog means that I generally work from home, alone, with very little real-life interaction with others. To be honest it’s my idea of HEAVEN, and I’ll be damned if I’m going to give up on that dream without a fight.

So in order to maximise my chances of success, I need to surround myself with like minded people now and again. It’s not always easy – or fun – but I do believe networking is essential for most businesses.

If you’re an anxiety-ridden mess like me then I can imagine this thought fills you with dread. Well this week I went balls-deep in some networking and it wasn’t a complete disaster! Watch this to find out why, and don’t forget to subscribe to my You Tube Channel for weekly videos.
