Simple Derma Intensive Relief Cream: I have spent years trying to find the perfect moisturiser for my dry skin. Most products hydrate my skin and first, but fail to maintain moisture past midday. This thick cream is designed for eczema and dermatitis sufferers but has become by stand-by ‘if all else fails’ moisturiser. It does leave a residue on the skin, but dry patches will be smoothed over and ready for make up to be applied. Also great as a night cream.
Alberto Balsam Juicy Green Apple Shampoo: My boyfriend and I were using various high street shampoos from Tresemme and Aussie for months and lately found our hair was greasy almost instantly after washing. We searched for a shampoo designed for greasy hair and this is what we found. It retails in most stores for £1 so I didn’t hold out much hope, but I was pleasantly surprised when results showed clean, soft, easy to style hair with no residue.
Palmers Natural Bronze Body Lotion: As a Scottish resident real tanning opportunities for me are few and far between, so I often resort to gradual tanners in summer. I was using the Dove gradual tanner but it was coming out all patchy and often unnoticeable. My fitness instructor recommended this and I loved the way it looked on her after just one application. The smell is stereotypical of the Cocoa Butter Formula; chocolate scented and to die for. I apply this the night before and wake up which a gorgeous, noticeable glow that isn’t streaky or patchy in the slightest. Go buy!
